Farklı kesimden bir çok İzmirlinin hali hazırda farklı amaçlarla kullandığı alana gitmek ve biz de #kültürparktayız demek için kendimize bir bahane yarattık.

We were in İzmir Kültürpark* (culture park) in the last weekend of April.
Announcements on the destiny of this green area in city center increased in number after the displacement of the trade fairs to the newly constructed building.
How will it in use in the future? Where do stand the ideas and usage preferences of the city-dwellers in this decision making processes?
We created an excuse for ourselves to go to the site and say "we are also in Kültürpark" which is already in use for various aims by many city-dwellers from different walks of life.
Kültürpark will be irrevocable for us if only it become a part of our daily life. We should have to discover the possibilities of it.
Our motto is: "rather than demanding anything from stakeholders, we better create what we like to have"

*İzmir Kültürpark is a green area that created early thirties as an urban re construction act. The big fire of Izmir occurred during the period of the victory war after the first world war. the area of now existing as a city park was a wast area of demolished neighborhoods and remained like that for a long time. As an act of modern urbanization, the mayor of that time, Behçet Uz decided to create a city park in that area; an idea that they got from the members of a committee visited Moscow and influenced by the city parks that they experienced there.
