With Herkes İçin Mimarlık (HİM) , we made a project for an elementary school in Izmir, Kemalpaşa.
Proactive teachers of the school had been applied to an EU project and become one of the partners of it including collaborators from Poland, Greece and Portugal.
As project group that represents HİM, we got involved into the process by organising design workshops with elementary school students and teachers to involve their ideas on the aesthetics and usage of the Toy Museum. Then we translated these ideas into an architectural project and discussed with them again.
Unfortunately, the site of the school become a part of urban transformation project which means the demolition and relocation of the existing school. All aims to create the toy museum had to be forgotten.
