The Game of Global Futures

Eben Kirksey describes how to play the Game of Global Futures, a storytelling exercise designed by Anna Tsing and Elizabeth Pollman. This game is being played as part of the Remaking Nature course hosted by Future Learn for the Environmental Humanities program at UNSW Australia.

The Global Futures Game is a simulation intended for classroom use at the high school or college level. The players are divided into eight teams representing various regions of the world. The game is played over nine rounds, each consisting of a ten-minute negotiation session and a five-minute calculation session.
